Emergance

In my later years, I have grown to love the glory of winter, so I accept March and even like it.

This March is different. It's been relatively warm (40-50) and sunny for the whole month and the snow is almost gone. With no snowfall on the horizon, I've come to peace with our mild winter and I'm ready to spring ahead on Sunday.

More perennials are sprouting along our driveway and I'm looking forward to raking and sprucing things up this coming weekend. I feel the give in the lawn when I take the dog out, yet it's not muddy.

What special things will happen this Spring?

Here's hoping the predicted rain this weekend doesn't turn everything to mud...

Sad we missed you guys too. I blame a full day of skiing in the gorgeous sun that left me asleep on a recliner around 8:00-8:30. I'm enjoying this spring-like weather, however! Will we have a March blizzard as we have in the past? I think I'm all set with snow days at this point!
