When it's cold, why not go shopping...

Yesterday Mike and I took off for Freeport. It's an outlet city here in Maine and the recession (although very bad for some) did not disappoint for my post birthday shopping spree. The sales were INCREDIBLE. We went to the Bean's Factory store and The Gap Outlet. I went shopping with the hope of purchasing some khakis for work and boy, did I?! I bought six pairs for under $5 a piece! $4.19 to be exact. I scored four pairs of pants that take on different shades of tan, a pair of navy blue chinos, and a pair of gray trousers. The tables turned yesterday and I pawed through the racks with the best of them and I went back for a second go around. Happy Birthday to me. Had Mike not been recovering from his cold, he might have given me a high five...Sorry honey. Hope you feel better soon. (Then we can go back.)
