I'm Really Hoping For Sunny Skies

As our friends get ready to depart for Montana, I can't blame them. Along with seeing family and fulfilling graduate school requirements in Bozeman,  you know the weather in Montana has to be warmer and sunnier than it is here.

While it's green and lush outside, this isn't Oregon. We're Mainers and most of us are pale and suffer from vitamin D deficiencies, so we don't just want the sunshine, we need it.

Snowstorms are exciting. Weeks of rain are not. Enough with the sinkholes, and wash outs. The promise of a pleasant summer is part of the deal for those of us who live in  Maine, so I remain optimistic that the sun will come back.

Bucks: Have a safe trip and if all else fails, I'm depending on you to bring back the sun.
