The Day is Done

I had most of my parent/teacher conferences yesterday and today and to say I am relieved is an under statement. Although my conferences went well, I was nervous before hand.

Now I only have three more on the 18th and I'll be done.

As some of you know, this year has been a whirl wind. I feel the excitement and challenges of this school year with a keen awareness that leaves me feeling tired at the end of the day. The days of hanging out in my hammock with a good book are so far behind me. I'm pale and could use a summer day...but would take a snowstorm and be almost as happy. While I'll survive just fine, I'm thankful tomorrow is Veteran's Day and we have the day off.
