The Color of Sunday*

is yellowish brown for the leaves we usually rake up in November, but instead took care of this weekend. This fall has been mild, yet windy and many of the leaves have already blown out of our yard. So in an effort to corral the remaining leaves, we pulled out the the rakes and tarps, and the whole family cleaned things up. I like it when we operate as an unit and I got to say, my two step kids were helpful little sports who are fast becoming big kids . With all this prep behind us, I wonder if winter will bring some real weather to deal with? Although I haven't polled the family, I wouldn't mind more wind and a lot of snow.

*And just to be clear, it was officially Sunday in most regions of the middle east when I posted this :)

One of my absolute favorite smells is wet leaves in the fall. I also can't wait for the snow!!
