Finding my Rhythm

Today Mike had a meeting in Buckfield, so the day was mine to navigate.

I got up around 7:30...The ideal time for me to rise. It's later than the school year, but still early enough to get things done in a leisurely fashion.

I made some necessary appointments. I took off for school to complete some last things in my classroom. I transplanted some houseplants and moved them onto the porch. I weeded. I jump-roped. I walked the dog and I managed to eat five servings of fruit.

My goals for the summer include: taking time to read, exercise, breath, and just be.

My long-time goal includes extending these goals throughout the year.  Somehow.

I don't have to carry the weight of the world on my shoulders.
