Today was a glorious day. I happily spent a couple hours weeding and raking my side and front flower beds as I remembered why I love summer so. With temperatures in the upper 70s...I puttered around feeling wonderfully content as Mike put up our new clothesline and hung some bedding and clothes out. After some reading, Mike meandered into the garage and the snow blower was swapped around for the grill. To mark the occasion, we had buffalo burgers with a medley of vegetables (done with a little olive oil, salt and pepper). Later in the evening, we walked to Rowe's and had our first ice cream sundays. Now Mike and I are back inside watching the Red Sox/Yankee series and hoping for the best. Days like this, make spring well worth the wait.
