Every Wednesday one of my student's grandma comes in and does a craft with my first graders. Among some of the projects they've completed: bird feeders, shamrock pins, cedar pillows, Christmas ornaments, and this quilt!
Her commitment is extraordinary. She's does more than her part and at the end of the day, my students feel extra special knowing she's in it for them.
I am in awe.

She is an amazing woman and an astounding grandmother!! Your students are lucky for sure.
That is BEAUTIFUL!! You're very lucky to have her. But, you already knew that! ;-)
