Day 112

I was a hard working kid and for the most part, I always tried my best.

In every grade, there are important skills to learn and never enough time.

But in first grade, they're not likely to advance to second grade if they can't read and write adequately. Talk about exciting and hard core.

As a teacher, it's my job to know my learners. So consequently, I aim to challenge my students and nudge them to the next level.

Educating children is like a puzzle and today I left school feeling as though I was lacking some corner pieces.  It's likely I'll make some phone calls tomorrow so that we can share space at the table, and shuffle through the pieces together.

I can't do it alone.

The good news is you don't have to. Hope you find those corner pieces soon and can get back to the assembling the puzzle and not crawling around on the floor looking for the missing piece :)
