On the Eve of 2011

It's been a full and wonderful Christmas break.

I made a trip to Montreal to spend time with my sister, her husband, and of course my niece Frances.

Then we headed down to Maine, so the rest of family could revel in their presence.

While I was in Montreal, I missed the first snowstorm of the season (which was labeled a blizzard) and Maine received just about a foot of snow. Ironically it was crisp and clear in Montreal, with no sign of the blustery weather to the east.
