In the third grade I decided I would be a teacher. With that direction came motivation and a dream. Although I'm not old, this has been my life for a long time and I take it seriously. And like a lot of teachers, I can get wrapped up in it all.

Reflecting back (like I do on Saturdays), I am reminded that I teach with supportive people and while the walls that surround my classroom may feel isolating, they define a space I've created for my students, with my students. My doorless, three-wall classroom is unique and busy, but it's open. Thank goodness.

This is certainly not a job that can be done without reflection and moral support! Glad you have both as part of your {amazing} practice.
