A Day At Hadlock

What a nice time we had at Hadlock today. Seated in general admission, we managed to avoid the rain for the most part (with only a few drops) as we ate our way through the park and made it through the whole game. (A great feat for this family!) Between innings there were little contests...Two girls sang the theme song for Funtown. Both won tickets. Four kids played musical chairs. A man threw balls into a giant Hannaford cart and won a gift card. Little kids danced with Slugger. Neil threw trash into the Trash Monster, smiling wider than I've seen in a LONG time. Lea pretended she didn't know us when we all did the wave.  Neil got a trusty foam finger. Although this summer may be end up being the wettest on record,  today was fun! Weather-wise, it may not have been perfect, but it's a fine memory for the Nolette famille.
